Man charged with shooting on Seaver Street last month

Boston Police report arresting a man they say sent another man to the hospital with critical injuries last month.

Gang-unit officers tracked Ahmad Lewis, 28, to Quincy, where they arrested him on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling for a shooting at 16 Seaver St. in Roxbury around 3:45 p.m. on April 13.

At his arraignment yesterday in Roxbury Municipal Court, Lewis was ordered held at the Suffolk County jail at least until a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Friday, court records show.
