Remembering the fall of Saigon in Fields Corner

The Dorchester Reporter reports on a remembrance in Fields Corner of "Black April" - when Saigon fell and thousands of people fled the Communists. Many of those refugees settled in the Dorchester neighborhood.

I just wish the Vietnamese hadn't been Ghettoized. I miss the time when Boston had multicultural neighborhoods. Back in the 1960s Roxbury and the South End was incredibly diverse.
